Hello & salut!
Ten years ago, I unexpectedly traded the rainy (yet stunningly green sights) of the Pacific Northwest for the sunshine of SoCal. I’ve been blessed to work on amazing projects with some of the best humans in the industry. You’ll find the rest of the nitty gritty details in my resume. In the meantime, here are a few details about me you won’t find there.
- I love teaching and investing in young people. One of my goals in life is to retire as a college professor. In the meantime, I’ve been teaching production workshops, where we made award-winning films like this one. I also mentor college students on a regular basis. In addition, I organize youth conferences and children’s festivals.
- I love food, and so does my entire family — It’s our love language. Have I mentioned I have 8 other siblings? Our family gatherings are basically epic food feasts! During my free time, you can usually find me testing out recipes or giving food tours around LA. I’m especially obsessed with dosas, among many other things. On a side note, my love of food might have something to do with the fact that I was literally born in the kitchen — My mom tells me the ambulance (in Romania) got lost! But that’s a story for another day.
When I’m not producing or cooking, you’ll likely find me: reading, hiking, writing hand-written letters, designing greeting cards for kids, visiting friends and family, or traveling.
Oh. I’m also obsessed with quotes, and here’s one of my faves: “The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity.”
Thank you & mersi!
